Don't you hate when they ruin the ending

Last night I got caught up in the movie No Way Out (it was a pretty good flick when you see it 15 years later).

I started thinking about all those movies where there is a shocking twist. Don't you hate it when people tell you the outcome ahead of time? Then i started thinking of some of the top secret surprise endings of all times. Here's a little walk down memory lane:

  • No Way Out - he really is the Russian spy called Yuri
  • The Crying Game - The girlfriend is really a guy
  • The Usual Suspects - Kaiser Susa is Kevin Spacey's crippled character and he has been in custody from the word go, making up stories
  • Empire Strikes Back - "Luke - I'm your Father"
  • the Sixth Sense - He's been dead the whole time. He's a ghost too
  • Presumed Innocent - The wife did it
  • Memento: Hullo - you killed your wife!
  • Wild Things - It was all a set-up - Matt Dillon and Neve Campbell planned it all. Oh yeah, she kills him too
  • Fight Club - He's Tyler- he has a multiple personality
  • Primal Fear - Aaron never existed, it was all an act
  • Saw 1 - The killer is right there on the floor watching you (this was really a good twist albeit unrealistic)
  • The Prestige -  The guy was twins

Now there - did I ruin it for you?

These are all I can think of off the top of my head. Can you add any? I should think about the really unsuccessful ones with bad gimmicks next.
