Oh the fun of listening to sycophants repeat sound bites ad nauseam. Today was a return to business as usual on Meet the Press with Brian Williams filling in and playing it Tim Russert style (I counted 6 of those "Here's what you said 12,000 years ago comments).
It wasn't much to talk about. The two of them went back and worth trying to put the spin on Obama turning down public financing. The bottom line is that the average person doesn't care how you finance your election campaign. If it were just that then this would not be an issue. But oh how things change when the two sides get a hold of it:
Is he changing the way we play politics by taking millions of sub-$100 donations and thus creating an interest free campaign?
Is he the worst of typical politicians whose word means nothing and who will do whatever it takes to advance himself over the interests of the American people?
I might also note - I just get weirded out whenever I watch Andrea Mitchell on TV. I just keep of her and Allen Greenspan doing it :-p
