Ok, this Obama public finance decision is not something that anyone didn't expect. What person wouldn't turn their back on a measly $80 million when they can have access to hundreds of millions of funds for campaigning. I would do it too.
The problem here is just the pattern. Let's face facts, Obama lied. The pattern is "I'll agree until it doesn't benefit me anymore" and it includes that ridiculous pastor, talking to Iran,etc. I will simply say this - I am not going to call him a liar, but he certainly doesn't appear to be the most dependable person when it comes to commitments. Throw that in with a wider perception that Obama just seems to have some poor judgement. I doesn't seem to think about the "whole picture" and the impact of the company that he keeps, the sides he takes, etc. Oddly, the only thing he seems to not back off on his opposition to the war - which he seems unable to see anything positive in that development (don't get me started on Iraq).
I'm afraid this is another strike for him in my book. He is the same old politician.
