Well, that's it. Hillary took center stage and now she exits stage right.
WOW - the opening video was incredible. That being said, it really was typical Clinton "look at me." I don't expect that Obama's intro film will be that good.
I thought she gave a rousing speech. I was impressed that she cut off the applause. When she first came out I think she could have milked that for well over 5 minutes. It certainly was good for her. She has created a place in history for herself as a women's leader - a modern day Harriet Tubman. There is no way that she didn't just paint her bio for 2012. This speech screamed: "look for me in the future." Here's what I thought was interesting: she never once said that Obama was qualified for the job. She really did the minimum...just enough to make her look like she went all out.
She did a good job of attacking McCain without sounding shrill. She laid out a set of ideas that were Democratic and just what the crowd wanted to hear.
I have to believe that a lot of people are wondering if they picked the wrong person.
